The Ajumako District Magistrate Court has fined eight drivers from Asikuma-Odoben- Brakwa District a total of GHC1750.00 for committing various motor traffic offences. The offences include overloading, driving without a license, over speeding and driving with expired road worthy documents. The drivers, who pleaded guilty, were fined between GHC 200.00 and GHC400.00. Chief Inspector Gershon Awuyee told the court that during the Christmas festivities the District Motor Traffic Transport Unit arrested the drivers.
