DJ remixes are not new as across the world, DJs are known for remixing popular songs as well as producing original beats for musicians.
And one Ghanaian DJ who has joined the growing number of DJs across the globe who produce remixes of songs is DJ Yoga .

DJ Yoga who is also the host of Soundz Splash on TV3 has released a dance remix of Medikal's Confirm and Bisa Kdei's Jw3.

The song, which he calls the Dance Jama Remix, according to him, is inspired by Ghanaians love for dance.

In an interview with Showbiz on Thursday, the boss of Afro trap music stated that he remixed the songs to get every Ghanaian irrespective of their background to get to the songs.

“Every tribe has its own dance and the people love to sing and dance to “Jama” songs at all times but sometimes, they are restricted by the beat and tempo and so, this is just to give them something they can dance to,” he said.

He is not new to doing his own versions of songs. His remix of African music was well received about five years ago. He later followed it up with the Afro Trap project which is aimed at inspiring Ghanaian producers and musicians to master the art of fusing African rhythms and foreign genres and beats.

He also noted that his latest remix forms part  of  projects he has in store to “feed Ghanaian music lovers to tunes they can dance to.

"This is not just a flash in the pan project. I need to keep them coming because the feedback has been great since I started this project”.

Jama Remix series will feature a blend of current AfroTrap songs making waves in Ghana and Afro Beats/ Azonto songs", he added.
