Berekum Chelsea have officially unveiled eighteen new signings ahead of the commencement of the Premier League on Sunday. The event by the reigning league champions is geared towards whipping up enthusiasm ahead of the new campaign which promises to be exciting. However the Ghana Executive Committee member, George Afriyie urged the club to hold such events at the team’s base in Berekum so as to strike a chord with the indigenes. “I’d advice that this program to unveil the new recruits be made in their locality,” Afriyie said. “The team is based in Berekum and therefore the need to let the people there have a feel of the new players they will be cheering.” The list of new signings includes star names; Baba Adamu Amando, Charles Taylor and Gladson Awako. Also signed are Prince Anokye, Nurudeen Ali, Isaac Amponsah and Collins Addo. With the rest being; Solomon Asante, Abdul Kamara, Musah Mohammed, Alfred Okaikwei, Gafaru Abdullai and Kwaku Andoh.
