Tunisia And Angola Through To Quarterfinals

Bafana Bafana of South Africa and the Teranga Lions of Senegal settled for a 1-1 draw in their last of Group D match of the Africa Cup of Nations played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday. The Lions capitalized on this to level up in the 37th minute through Henri Camara, who exploited a defensive blunder to whisk the ball past goalkeeper Masilela Tsepo. Senegal began the second half with much vigour, earning a corner-kick in the 48th minute, which was wasted. Two minutes later, Senegal pulled out Papa Buba Diop and replaced him with Gueye Baba Car Mbaye. The match was balanced from mid-way in the second half as both sides went all out to score. Nash Morris of South Africa won the MTN man-of-the-match award, while the Samsung fair-play player went to Sibusiso Zuma also of South Africa.
