Tragic Accident In Eastern And Central Regions...Several Lives Lost

Information reaching Peacefmonline.com indicates that there have been two tragic accidents in the Eastern and Central regions this Saturday morning. The accident in the Eastern Region, which happened on the Aburi-Mamfe road, involves a 207 Benz bus. The 207 bus is reported to have run into a refuse dump and somersaulted several times leading to three deaths. The dead include two middle aged men and a young lady. The accident according to eyewitnesses occurred as a result of brake failure. On the other hand, the Central regional accident involved a timber truck loaded with timber logs and a KIA truck carrying market women and loaded with oranges. The two trucks are reported to have collided on the Elmina-Takoradi highways, due to wrong over-taking. The number of deaths cannot be immediately ascertain. Details coming up....
