A presidential aide, Stan Dogbe has taken a swipe at Ursula Owusu for defending Nana Addo’s “all die be die” comment, alleging that she is courting cheap popularity to lobby for a ministerial appointment should Nana Addo became President. Spokespersons of the opposition New Patriotic Party have sought to explain the rationale behind their leader's declaration, insisting there was no need for him to apologise. Apart from the aggressive defense some party executives have put up for Nana Addo’s potentially explosive comments over the last one week, the campaign team has launched into overdrive with the printing of T-shirts with the bold inscription of “ALL DIE BE DIE”. On Monday, February 14 edition of Metro TV’s Good morning Ghana, Ursula Owusu, a staunch member of the Nana Addo campaign team was spotted proudly wearing one of the T-shirts. This conduct has however drawn strong condemnation from members of the Mills administration. Speaking to Citi News, Stan Dogbe questioned the prudence of Ursula Owusu wearing a T’ Shirt with the inscription “all die be die”. “As for Ursula she thinks that being boisterous and overly supportive of whatever Nana Addo says whether good or bad is what would give her the popularity that she requires to win her parliamentary seat or get her a ministerial appointment in Nana Addo’s government. I am sorry Nana is nowhere near the Presidency in 2012 or 2016 and she ought to realize that this country would have to remain stable before they come back to power”.
