Rawlings Would Be A Pastor – Duncan Williams

11 Jan 2011 191 news, social

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, founder and leader of the Action Faith Ministries, says God has told him that former President Jerry Rawlings would become a Christian priest in the near future. Duncan-Williams, speaking at the 31st December watch night service to cross over into 2011 said he was speaking prophetically and that it was because of the call of God on the life of Jerry Rawlings, that he, Duncan, had stayed close to the former first family. “I tell you and I am speaking prophetically that this man [Rawlings] would end as a pastor…And I have known this for a long time…you just wait and see”, the Archbishop noted and revealed further that Rawlings himself is very much aware of this “call” on his life and for that reason once upon a time, enrolled into a seminary to become a pastor but dropped out of the program under rather inexplicable circumstances. Jerry Rawlings, who had attended the church service with his wife, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, was by then standing on the Altar and facing the several thousands of church members. When given as opportunity to address the congregation, the former President confirmed that he has a craving for doing God’s work and expressed the hope that he would either start his own church or join the Action Faith Ministries when the appointed time for him to start his ministry comes.
