Osagyefuo Amotia Ofori Panin was speaking at a durbar of chiefs organized in honour of the visiting Sierra Leonean President to Ghana, Mr. Ernest Bai Koroma at the Okyenhene’s Palace at Kibi on Sunday. He said the African continent is faced with the problem of poverty, inadequate health care and inefficient educational system and said African leaders need to work hard to ensure that, together they could build a continent that the future generation would be proud of. Osagyefuo Amotia Ofori Panin said Africa has all the necessary resources to make it, but what is needed is the political will on the part of African leaders to succeed and called for the raising of the level of tolerance among African politicians. President Koroma said Sierra Leone use to have difficulties in the past but it is now safe and peaceful country. He said currently, the challenge facing Sierra Leone is how to improve upon its service delivery, energy supply and health care and said the country had decided to look within the West African Sub-region for support and invited interested Ghanaian business persons to invest in the country. President Koroma said with the right investments, Sierra Leone could be the best tourist destination and mining country in Africa. He congratulated the chiefs and people of Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area for their role in the political history of Ghana and the African continent.
