Police in James Town, a suburb of Accra, have begun investigating circumstances under which a woman was allegedly murdered and dumped at the Korle-Bu Beach.
The Crimes Officer for the James Town District Police Command, DSP Alex Buabeng told Citi News, the body of the unidentified female deceased has been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue.
He said efforts are quickening investigations into the matter have been delayed because relatives are yet to contact the police to identify the body. DSP Buabeng described the deceased as fair in complexion, 5-feet eight inches tall with no tribal marks.
He is appealing to the general public to contact the James Town Police Command if the description meets any missing relative.
