Mr Eli Kotoku Elikem, Volta Regional Treasurer of the Convention People's Party (CPP), has sworn into office a 13-member executive to run the affairs of the party in the Ho Central Constituency. The executives include Mr Kosi Dedey, Chairman, Sena Dake, Secretary and Randy Senyo Kley, organiser. Others are Madam Suzy Kpeklu, Women Organiser, Mr Albert Klu, Treasurer and Mr Anthony Nanewotor, Youth Organizer. Mr Elikem urged the executives to comply with the party's constitution and ensure that constituency conferences were held yearly. He said the CPP had a chance of winning next year's election and urged the executives to sell the party to people at the grassroots to make the " dream" come true. Mr Donkor Ayifli, a member of the Central Committee, cautioned the new executives against people who joined political parties and defect when the " going gets tough". He said the CPP had gone through very trying times and was no longer going to tolerate executives who took up positions only to go to sleep and wait for another election year.
