There was pandemonium on Monday when supporters of Mr. Harry Zakkour and Vincent Odotei Sowah, former CEO and current CEO of Accra Hearts of Oak respectively, clashed at the clubs Secretariat in Accra, DAILY GUIDE SPORTS has learnt. Mr. Odotei Sowah, it would be recalled was appointed Acting CEO of Hearts last Friday by the Board of Directors of the club. Supporters loyal to Zakkour stormed the office to protest against the appointment of Odotei Sowah as CEO of the club. On the other hand, supporters loyal to Odotei Sowah upon learning about the development besieged the place ostensibly to openly exhibit their support for the Acting CEO. DAILY GUIDE SPORTS learnt that tension between the two factions reached fever pitch, and but for the timely intervention of Mr. Odotei Sowah, something nasty might have occurred. The Acting Hearts CEO took his time to brief the irate supporters about circumstances leading to his appointment and as well appealed to them to stay united in order to move the club forward. The two factions, after the brief interactions with Mr. Odotei, calmly left the office.
