X Project Prepare For World Hip Hop Awards

THE X-Project trio of Majeed, Slez and Saal are savouring the fame and fortune their latest effort Sierra Naija has brought them. The trio shoned like a million stars at a Valentine groove entitled Gombe Nite held last week at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. The Gombe crooners thrilled the enthusiastic crowd to some of their popular songs and the student couldn’t but ask for more. They performed Dance 4 Me, Lori Le, Sierra Naija and others. The group later proved what they made them the most sought after group in Nigeria at the moment as they repeat another scintillating performance at the hall of Planet One , Maryland, Lagos. Their performance at the Aquatic Hall same day confirmed them as one of the revelations this year and what earned them a nomination for the annual Hip Hop World Award (HHWA). X-Project won the Best R & B Group Award courtesy of Super Screen Television last Friday at Planet One and also nominated as the Best Collabo Artiste of the Year along side, Olu Maintain, (Yahoozee), D J Jimmy Jatt, (Stylee) and Ruggedman, (Ruggedy Baba).
