TV3 Mentor Star In Suicide Bid?

One of the products of TV3 Mentor One (1) fame, Isaac, known in showbiz circles as ‘Showboy’ is under intensive care at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra. He was admitted at the hospital this afternoon around 2:30pm. Peace News can confirm that Isaac took ill when he allegedly tried to commit suicide by drinking an overdose of an alcoholic beverage. Interestingly Isaac is a known teetotaler. Peace News investigations can reveal, that the up and coming musician nearly took his life due to “pressure” from his Manager, Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh (CEO of Bandex Music Production) over the youngman’s (Isaac) love affair. Peace News is reliably informed that in the heat of constant pressure by his Manager over his ‘Showboy’s relationship with the girlfriend, (name withheld), Showboy decided to end it all by taking his life. The lady in question, who is his childhood sweetheart, is believed to be 5 months pregnant. Isaac shot into the limelight following his impressive show of musical talent at the maiden TV3 Mentor Reality Show. He was subsequently nicknamed the ‘Showboy’ and was promised a musical contract by Bandex. True to his word, Bandex signed the youngman up onto his record label and successfully promoted Isaac’s debut album. Bandex, in an interview with Peace FM denied that Isaac tried taking his life. He disclosed that his admittance at the hospital might be in relation with appendicitis. Meanwhile, according to Peace FM sources, Isaac is responding to treatment.
