Tic Tac Performs @ Soundcity

One of Ghana’s leading hiplife artistes, Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah, aka Tic Tac of ‘Kangaroo’ fame is among selected recognized African artistes who have been invited to perform at this year’s Soundcity Music Video Awards slated for Friday April 11 in Nigeria. Tic Tac will be performing alongside artistes from other parts of Africa such as the legendary NAS from South Africa, D’Banj, P Square, and Faze, all from Nigeria. The awards will be transmitted to millions of viewers across Africa, the United States, the United Kingdom, and indeed some parts of Europe.Tic Tac was recently in the United States hooking up with Akon, and Gil Green and as well performing at the official Ghana Independence Bash in New York last Saturday. The artiste said he was thrilled to be part of such a big event and will always deliver the goods, referring to the upcoming programme in Nigeria. According to his manager, George Bimpong of Kafina Management, Tic Tac is on the roll now after inspiring the nation with his ‘Kangaroo’ dance. Miss Shileola Obisesan, Senior Brands Manager of the Consolidated Media Associates, said this year’s awards would be the biggest entertainment event to be held in Nigeria. Already, the Mo’Hits Crew, Storm All Stars, P Square, Plantashun Boiz, Question Mark All Stars and the MUSON Philharmonic Orchestra have been confirmed amongst the groups performing alongside Tic Tac.
