INFORMATION REACHING DAILY GUIDE SPORTS indicates that some top-notch clubs in the premiership are hotly pursuing Joe Louis, formerly of Champion Club, Accra Hearts of Oak. The multi-talented former playmaker is said to be keenly sought after by clubs in the Ashanti region. The former Kotoko, King Faisal and Olympics livewire is reported to be in a mix as to which club he should pitch camp with. Joe Louis who confirmed the report in an exclusive interview with DAILY GUIDE SPORTS said after three years, he has no contract with his former club Hearts of Oak. “I have even collected my release letter from them”. He indicated that he is now free to join any club of his choice and partake in the ongoing premiership. Petit Joe Louis declined to name the clubs who were after him, insisting, “I will join the club that comes up with the biggest offer”. DAILY GUIDE SPORTS’ investigations however revealed that nimble-footed Joe Louis has started training with King Faisal in Kumasi. According to reports, Joe Louis, known in sports circles as ‘Abiski’ put up a splendid performance and crowned the day with a spectacular goal to the delight of Coach Steve Pollach of King Faisal who is said to have shown strong interest in the former Hearts player.
