The Ghanaian-German Senior High and Vocational School at Atwima-Denchemuoso has been presented with 15 computers and accessories valued at €11,000. This is to help enhance the teaching and learning of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in the school. The ICT department of Audi Motor Works in Ingolstadt-Germany made the donation through the Munich-based German-Ghanaian Friendship Association (GGFA). Mr Albert Osei-Wusu, President of the GGFA, handed over the computers to the school at a ceremony on Thursday. He said this was part of their contribution towards assisting the students to build skills in ICT to become competitive in the fast changing technological world. Mr Anthony Amankwah Sarkodie, the Administrator, said the school was grateful for the support and appealed to other individuals, institutions and organizations to follow the example. In addition to the normal SHS curriculum, the school also trains young people in catering, dressmaking, carpentry, electrical, masonry, home economics and plumbing works.
