The National Sports Council (NSC) announced the temporary closure of the El-Wak Sports stadium in Accra to prepare the venue towards the second leg encounter of the Olympic Games qualifying football match between Ghana's Black Meteors and their Nigerian Counterparts. The titanic match is scheduled for the stadium on Friday, November 16. Mr Hamah Hamid Issakah, Head of Public Relations of the NSC in a release to the GNA Sports therefore advised all those who intend to use the facility to make alternative arrangements to forestall any disappointment. He said the stadium would be opened for normal activities after the crucial encounter between the two countries. The Council is therefore appealing fr the support, understanding and cooperation of all in this endeavour.
